Kevin Anderson discovered cornerpiece after a recommendation from one of our previous clients Surfstore. Kevin was setting up a brand new business providing kitesurfing lessons and needed a dynamic and exciting branding package including logo design, web design with content management, business cards and leaflets. After providing several variations of logo design, a winner was selected and a colour scheme agreed. The website was built around our own CMS (content management system) enabling Kevin to update the website content himself whenever the need arises. To keep the website looking constantly animated and interesting we employed a photo slide show effect on all pages with relevant photographs. A gallery was also added to allow new photos to be uploaded to the website and displayed with a very neat lightbox effect. Finally a blog style news section was included so Kevin can keep his followers up to date on all things kitesurfing.
As our CMS includes XML Sitemaps and automatic search engine submission, all the major search engines were informed of the website and all its pages and content from the day it was launched. Any changes to the content via our CMS will also trigger an update to the search engines to ensure their indexes are bang up to date.
In addition to the website design, Kevin required business cards and A4 trifold leaflets to be designed and printed. The logo and colour scheme of the website were used, ensuring colours were retained during conversion from RGB to CMYK, and once designs were completed and agreed we generated industry standard 300dpi printable pdf documents to send to our printing partners. We also provided Kevin with the enlarged artwork to print his logo six feet wide across his new van!
We are happy to say that Kevin was delighted with the results and how the branding of his new company has taken shape across both web and print media.
Cornerpiece was recommended to me by Surfstore. I was setting up a new kitesurfing instruction business and was in need of a decent web site.
Cornerpiece did a fantastic job for me, not only by designing a brilliant web site but they also gave me help with logo design, business cards, and leaflets. Because my IT skills are not great cornerpiece needed to be patient, understanding, and tolerant, and they were all of these, always at the end of the telephone ready to offer there services.
There prices were very reasonable and I will not hesitate to work with them again.
